About GIA

Welcome to Global Intermediate Academy!

Global Intermediate Academy is an Internationally-focused school on the Broadway Campus. Students have access to courses in design technology, physical education, visual arts, and performing arts. Students also participate in a variety of athletic and academic clubs, including Mapleton’s only chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. Academic success is made possible by strong parent support and community engagement. GIA staff work alongside parents in making learning meaningful for students, and helping students realize and celebrate their contributions to the world by continuing to ask the question, “How are you taking action today?”

Global has a strong school culture cultivated through traditions and relationships. Guided by veteran staff, many of whom are bilingual, students receive individualized support during the day and have opportunities for learning and tutoring beyond the bell. Students in all grades have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities.
