Global Intermediate Academy is proving that when students feel connected and excited to start their day, they show up and keep showing up. With a current attendance rate of 94.2%, up two percentage points from last year, the school is seeing stronger engagement, fewer absences, and a truancy rate nearly cut in half.

Global Intermediate Academy has transformed traditional specials into rotating career and technical education classes, giving middle schoolers hands-on experiences in real industries. These courses help students explore career interests, build practical skills and connect their learning to the world beyond school.

It's time to complete the Annual Update! 

The Annual Update is the online process where current Mapleton families may:

• Update contact information and emergency contacts.
• Add and enroll additional student(s) in the household.
• Enroll in a new school for the upcoming school year for a current student.
• Confirm enrollment for the upcoming school year for a current student.

Senior Deputy Superintendent Mike Crawford is launching a Listening and Learning tour to hear from as many families, students, staff, and community members as possible before taking over as Superintendent on July 1, 2024.
